Your wings are BROKEN and tattered. You are
an angelic spirit who has fallen from grace for
one reason or another - possibly, you made one
tragic mistake that cost you everything. Or
maybe you were blamed for a crime you didn't
commit. In any case, you are faithless and
joyless. You find no happiness, love, or
acceptance in your love or in yourself. Most
days are a burden and you wonder when the
hurting will end. Sweet, beautiful and
sorrowful, you paint a tragic and touching
picture. You are the one that few understand.
Those that do know you are likely to love you
deeply and wish that they could do something to
ease your pain. You are constantly living in
memories of better times and a better world.
You are hard on yourself and self-critical or
self-loathing. Feeling rejected and unloved,
you are sensitive, caring, deep, and despite
your tainted nature, your soul is
breathtakingly beautiful.

Things I cant say
Things I cant say at school:
"My foot fucking hurts", "This is a pain in my ass", ... and more things along those lines..
Really though - I think I hobbled a little too much yesterday - my foot hurts more than it has since this happened. I think I am going to go visit the trainers at Pace - I volunteered with them for 3 1/2 years while I was there.. perhaps they will let me use their cold whirlpool to do some therapy tonight.

ouch
ok, so I did something insanely stupid. Coming down the steps at the middle school, the lights were off, it was dark (after 5:30) and I thought I was all the way down, guess what there was still one more step to go. My ankle is now 3x the normal size and a nice shade of purple. needless to say I will not be very mobile the next few days.

of good food and Stephenson
first of all to the good food - felt like cooking tonight and made chicken sauted in a little olive oli, balsamic, basil and honey.. with cous cous and salad.. most yummy!
secondly I love Quicksilver.. read another bunch of pages while I was at the gym tonight. I think thats going to become pleasure book reading time, otherwise it will never get finished. Heres an exerpt I particularly loved:
"'But she wants us to draw abeam of her, does she not-that is the entire point of being a pirate-so perhaps she has thrown out drogues, and that is why she wallows along so pitiably.'
'she doesn't need to throw out drogues because of her appaulling Zog.'
'There it is again-what, I ask, is the meaning of that word?'
'Her wake, look at her wake!' Dappa says, waving his arm angrily.
'Yes-now that we are so, er, unsettlingly close, I can see that her wake's enough to capsize a whaleboat'
'Those damned pirates have loaded so many cannon aboard, she rides far too low in the water, and so she's got a great ugly Zog.'
'Is this meant to reassure me?'
'its meant to answer your question.'
'Zog is Dutch for 'wake' then?'
'Dappa the linguist smiles yes. Half his teeth are white, the others made of gold. 'And a much better word it is, because it comes from zuigen which means 'to suck'.'
'I dont follow.'
'Any seaman will tell you that a ship's wake sucks on her stern, holding her back-the bigger the wake, the greater the suck, and the slower the progress. That schooner, Doctor Waterhouse, sucks.'"
