reading manuscripts
The thing that sucks about reading manuscripts for publishers and telling them how horrible they are is that you actually have to read the awful manuscript in the first place. ugh.
(Although it is kinda cool when you get the second revision and you go back to read you original comments and see how much of a difference you made in the book! :)
