Surprised at what surprises you
I wonder why people are surprised I do yoga? Its fun, it leaves you feeling great and aside from helping you to stay in good shape it also keeps your body healthy..
Anyway, came home, went to the gym, did some yoga stretching, sat in steam room for a while....AHHHH... neck feels a little better.
If school is snowed out tomorrow we will do USACO on Monday... (hoping for a delay..) I am so happy for all the people doing CS2 as an independant study. :) I know its a little rough around the edges right now, but thats because everything is new. Once we get moving I am going to include some references to some free online textbooks, as well as the notes.

A post from the math class cutter hunter
I dont know how Nevine came up with that... I am probably the teacher least likely to be that person.
The faculty is engaged in a discussion, starting at the faculty meeting, about how to get the students who are not involved (for various reasons) with clubs/school activities to have more active involvement in the school. Any suggesstions from you would be much appreciated. (No Zach, you cannot have your own freshman..) The school wants some kind of organized activity (be it homeroom, a day every other week with shortened periods where clubs can meet during the day, ....) Any suggestions?

Resolutions
...have to do something 4th period tomorrow.... I need to figure out a way to reach everyone in the class.... may think of exempting notebooks for honors students... not sure.. For those of you who read this... suggestions (not during general class time) are always welcome. I know today was mostly my fault. Have revamped some of the stuff for shortened periods tomorrow.. changed due dates on assignments and added extra programming day into schedule.
hmm... ponders on...

Good friends
Ever have one of those enlightening conversations with a good friend? To the person who made me smile tonight.. Keep up hope - I meant what I said.. The world needs more of people who are just willing to tell stories to each other, listen to their sorrows and offer a shoulder of support. Someone once said "the best thing to find in our travels is a good friend" and I think I have found a good one.. Keep making me laugh and smile.. and I will try to return the favor...
off to sheep...
