Shilelagh Law
Last night we went out with some friends to see this band, Shilelagh Law, at an irish pub in Stamford. They were absolutely amazing. Anyone who likes good irish rock music let me know and I will burn you the cd. Awesome awesome time with good friends whom we havent hung out with in a while.
The inside of this pub was absolutely amazing. They had carved wood and stone, it looked like an old irish church. Very very beautiful and just the right atmosphere to listen to the band. There are pics on the website for the pub - its called The Playwright.
Well, I really have to do some laundry and work - will be on and off all day I am sure.

New Toy
Hubby got himself a new toy.. a HP digital music center so now we can play any media we have on the computer through the stereo... It has an ethernet port on the back and I no longer have to dig through cd's and can make playlists for myself... HORRAY!! no more interrupting work to cycle cd's... :)

Complete sobriety (and miserableness) vs. Drugged up (with OTC..)
First let me clarify the heading.. Drugged up as in Advil Cold and Sinus... Anyway, I havent yet decided what is better for me... Do I want to be miserable yet somewhat aware of my surroundings, or all happy and hyped up on ACS? I dont know.. but my decision will become apparent to you tomorrow...

Time for a distraction
Aside from the fact that it is snowing outside, I have now been working for about 4 hours straight and I need a distraction... Very focused, got a lot of work done - only a slight break for a drunk at police headquarters (yes I am on duty at the ambulance squad)... but need a break soon or I am going to drive myself completely nuts....YAR!
1/2 hour to end of shift..work work work work

also what you posted about saddam and bush being too testosterone driven.. I completely agree. This is completely a mine is bigger than yours fight.. I agree that it was provoked on some level, but still Operation "shock and awe"? cmon.. Saddam just stop being a bad little boy (someone should call his mother) and cant the two of you play nice in the sandbox?
