More Day 1
Back to shower and change after my walk.. definately going to do that every day.. Tonight is toy night (::packs up chinese lanterns for transport::) ::glares @ alex.. she stole trav and he never made it back :( ::
I finally met someone who is just as workaholoic as I am. She is the author of the barons review book. She said exactly how I feel.. If you are in the middle of a project or something and you take an hour off to do something for you - then you feel guilty. I asked how her significant other dealt with it and she said "oh, he does physics research - he is normally busier than I am".. ::sigh:: I need to find balance.
I am debating tonight piling the two mattresses from the two beds together. My back is still a little iffy from falling asleep crooked on the plane. definately going to have to stretch out really well tonight - and I am thinking about putting the laptop in the common room of the suite (there are desks there with chairs) rather than sitting on the bed and using it.
::waves:: now that you have come back and joined the world of the connected again.. :) Hope your trip is going well - the other admin has given you mod privs for where are they..
Anyway - off to hob nob for a while - will be back later and out again, then back again :)

Day 1 - Mostly
So they moved me from the tree of fish to the A fish question. Not bad.. Now I have my own acorn :) and since I eventually want to be a question leader its a good way for the powers that be to evaluate how I handle teaching a newbie.. Definately pouted to don for a little bit though.. :) Marilyn got moved with me so the two of us pouted together.. but its all good.. having fun :)
Ok word of the day (yes our fearless leader comes around and gives us a word of the day).

AP Reading Day 1/2
Today only qualifies as day 1/2 because I spent most of it travelling to get here. Seeing a lot of people that I havent in a while... definately need to build my list of aim screen names and email addresses.
I found out that I am grading the Tree of Fish question (Horray!!) its going to be quite a room with Barbara as our question leader and Ann, Marilyn and I being some of the readers... I even think Don (one of the guys from CMU) is our other leader.. FUN FUN!!!
Ah well off to party for newbie readers.. definately going to be a fun week!!

2nd period today was great.. soo funny ended up all singing the hallelujah song together..
Its been a crazy day.. Running around trying to collect assignments, get final projects to work, and a whole bunch of other crap.
Oh well.. I apologize to anyone I was short with ... need a nap..

Last Day
I cant believe that the school year has ended already. I am waiting for the summer (so happy about being able to go back to my summer schedule of being a night owl - I work so much better that way. A little sad to see the seniors go, but definately hoping they keep in touch and become good friends the way a few others have (::waves::@grym and eunji & will if he read this..)
Oh well, will write more later.. and watch for news from South Carolina all week.

still grounded
ok.. so I didnt get to see the matrix this weekend - but I think that Rich just wanted to crash sat. night. Although this is getting a little ridiculous...
Yesterday was a good day at the harbor fair.. Was a good little community servant and worked most of the day doing free blood pressures with the ambulance squad. We raised a couple hundred dollars for the ambulance squad and the village had a good day I think. Lots of people and some good fun. Then some friends came over the house for dinner and my sister stayed over 'cause she had to work in westchester today.
I cant believe its the second week of june already. Two more days and I go to grade the AP exams - thats going to be an awesome week! then I come back and have to grade my own exams.. fun fun.. and finally I go to GREECE!! such an amazing start to the summer I cant wait!
