of waterfights, bondage, and locks of hair
I think that the title says it all.. you should not have changed the channel.. Although with a vote of 3 to nothing I believe I won :p... anytime you are up for a rematch.. :)
Well I leave for greece tomorrow - I am soo excited - will be at school for a little while in the morning - have to clean off my desk.. (ugh) I think my room is pritty much done - just have some random bits to move - but will be back for certain books after the greece trip - so maybe I will finish cleaning it then. Have to go through filing cabinet as well... ::looks at designated personal assistant...:: (just kidding)
I will be blogging and if you send me your home address via email before tomorrow @ noon I will send you a postcard from greece :)

Odds and Ends
So I managed to make it through most of graduation without too many tears.. I think the fact that it was sooo hot had something to do with that. Those of you who have pictures - you had better share!
Last night was odd.. Still trying to process some stuff - fun in a way but I probably should have left way before I actually did.. ::prays:: please let nothing come of that.
For those of you who dont know - July 10th the NY Philharmonic is playing a free concert in central park. I will probably be going down around the early afternoon - maybe earlier if people want to wander. (but that would involve less sleep..) If you are planning to go either email me or go to the forums and look under the water cooler.. probably in Where did they go.
and Thank you for showing me neverwinter nights.. I should (not) start to play that game.. its going to become slightly addictive I would imagine.. but I am soo taking a week off from any kind of work when I get back from greece (yeah right) - at least I am going to try..

Thoughtful mood
you put me in a thoughtful mood so I remembered an old journal I used to keep. I hope you all will indulge me a little as I write some of the things that I found. I recommend doing this to anyone who wants.. keep a journal with random quotes and directions to yourself. Its amazing how you can go back and read small parts of the story of your life through it.
I wrote this the July after I graduated high school, before I went away to college.
"...Live and love and remember and dream and always smile, for joy is the essence of life for me, for you, for everyone. Keep your memories in gold bound books, they are joy even the sad ones, for without being sad we could feel no joy...So trust and dream and remember. Just dont make your life a rerun of memories. Let them go."
And an old blessing I wrote shortly thereafter:
"May the dreams you dream be worthy of the person you are,
may they lead you ever higher,
may they help you travel far,
may they keep you always trying for a better way.
Then your life will be as happy as your most memorable moment"

And the fiddle sang..
dragged some random friends out to a flogging molly concert last night. It was cool (and the rain even held off for most of the concert)! good times were had by all (I believe) and the music of course was good.
I cant believe the end of the school year is here! Graduation is the day after tomorrow (I have already picked up an extra box of tissues at the store) and after that GREECE!! for a week! I cant wait.
::sigh:: home alone tonight cleaning house, doing laundry, and various odds and ends.. im me I'll be here..
